Return Policies


Product Availability
Because many of our items are overstock or seasonal items and because of high product demand and order volume we cannot guarantee that any item will remain in stock — even if it appeared on the web site at the time of your order. Our order processing staff works diligently to stay ahead of manufacturing trends to insure product availability. However, products are never guaranteed in stock and may become unavailable after you place an order.

Discontinued or Out of Stock Items
If an item is found to be out of stock, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable after an order has been placed, a refund, including any applicable shipping and handling, will be processed and you will be notified via the E-mail address you provided at the time the order was placed. If no E-mail address is provided, you will not be notified of the refund and will only see the credit on your monthly account statement. On some orders, we may, at our discretion, choose to ship the majority of quantities ordered and issue a refund for any remaining unshipped quantities.

Cancelled Orders
Once an order has been placed with the online warehouse via the internet it can only be cancelled if it hasn’t yet been shipped to its final destination via the online warehouse or a manufacturer’s warehouse. If an order is cancelled, regardless of whether or not it has been shipped, it will incur, on certain items, at the discretion of the warehouse, a restocking fee of up to twenty percent (20%) of the order total plus any shipping and/or handling charges that may apply.

Damaged Shipments
Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. Bags and Tents is not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

Manufacturers Defects
If a product appears to have a manufactures defect email us at support@thecampfirestore.com for instructions. Do not return products to us without first calling to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number.

No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

Refused Shipments and 3rd Attempts
If any order is returned as being refused by the recipient, or if any order is returned to because, after 3 attempts, the shipment was determined by the freight carrier to be undeliverable, the order will be cancelled and refunded. No shipping and handling will be refunded and the order will incur a 20% restocking fee. If you still wish for the order to be fulfilled you will need to place a new order with the online warehouse with accompanying payment.

Return Merchandise Policy
Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. For questions about returning merchandise email us at support@bagsandtents.com. The return of non-defective merchandise, when authorized, may incur 20% re-stocking fee (of the order total), at our discretion.

No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. No returns will be authorized after 14 days from the receipt of shipment. In some cases returns will be authorized up to 28 days, depending upon the product. Consumer must obtain return authorization before that time. Coleman products will be subject to a 10% restocking fee after 10 days from the receipt of shipment.

Once a return has been authorized by our return department, you should:
  • Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  • Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  • Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of
    returned merchandise.

    Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can’t be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

    We will notify you via E-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21 business days of our receiving your return.

    Refund Shipping
    We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
    You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors.

    The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from our company.

    Credit Card Fraud
    Any person committing credit card fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

    Freight Charges
    You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors.

    The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from the online warehouse.

    Shipping and Handling
    Many factors contribute to the shipping and handling costs calculated by the online warehouse database system. Primarily, shipping and handling is calculated by the total number of boxes, total order weight, final destination zip or postal code, and the items total insured value.

    We do our best to make sure that the shipping and handling charges accurately reflect standard UPS shipping charges. However, because product packaging, weight, and product accessories are subject to change without notice, and because UPS shipping rates are also subject to change without notice, we cannot guarantee that your shipping and handling charge will be an exact match with the UPS database.

    Warranty Repairs
    The Campfire Store is not a warranty repair station, and therefore makes no express or implied warranty whatsoever with respect to any merchandise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The only warranties provided are provided by the manufacturer and are as contained in each manufacturer’s package. All request for warranty information, repairs, and claims should be made directly to the manufacturer. Please ship all repairs directly to the manufacturer to avoid delays.
